TTXGP – the world’s first clean emission Grand Prix

< Clean-tech race performance bikes to battle for supremacy on world famous Isle of Man TT circuit >

Las Vegas, November 4, 2008 – The TTXGP, the world’s first clean emission Grand Prix, is being represented by its founder, Azhar Hussain, at this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas. The TTXGP will take place on June 12, 2009 on the Isle of Man TT circuit in the UK, one of the most gruelling road-race circuits in the world, and aims to drive clean-emission technological innovation forward – proving on the international stage of the Isle of Man TT races that clean-emission transport technologies have matured, and can be fun, fast and exciting.

The TTXGP will be featured in the ‘Making Green Cool Zone’ (booth #34245) at SEMA, where visitors will be able to see one of the bikes entering the race, the Brammo Enertia Electric Motorcycle, and learn more about the ethos behind the TTXGP. The TTXGP ‘Making History’ movie will also be shown during the ‘Green Performance’ Vehicle Technology Briefing Seminar on Wednesday November 5 at 10.30 am.

Azhar Hussain commented: “Nothing drives innovation like competition, which is why we have created the TTXGP. The TTXGP is here to provide a global platform for the rise of the next generation of motorsport giants. Entrants into the TTXGP are unencumbered with legacy technologies, business models and mindsets. The TTXGP offers new thinking a chance to prove itself in open competition.”

The planned race will showcase a diverse range of clean emission bikes capable of reaching Grand Prix speeds with teams, backed by international corporations, universities and high tech institutions, all eager to prove their credentials in the brave new world of clean emission transportation.
